Here, you can find all the latest information on our upcoming events and programs, as well as more general information on our joint congregations. 

For the uninitiated, The West Cumberland Parish includes both St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Plainfield, PA and Centerville Lutheran Church in Centerville, PA. Our congregations offer intimate, small-town settings that are perfect for worship. Whereas members of large churches may at times feel as though they are lost in the crowd, we benefit from a family-like atmosphere that makes your relationship with Christ a more personal experience. We welcome and encourage visitors to attend our services and see how we can meet your spiritual needs.

As of June 21st, 2020, the West Cumberland Parish is being presided over by Vicar Andrew Berdahl.  We are excited to have him leading our worship and look forward to the new energy he will bring to our congregations.  He is also an active duty Army Chaplain Candidate, who is settling in very well with all the Veterans in the Parish.
